Brief Itinerary
Day One
Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfall, 100 Kms
Start our ride around 8:30 am. Leaving Cao Bang City behind, the ride quickly settles into the quiet limestone landscapes of Vietnam’s far northeast. The route flows through peaceful backroads, ethnic villages, and remote valleys rarely reached by mainstream tourism.
Highlights along the way include Angel Eye Mountain, the traditional incense-making village of Phia Thap, the quiet countryside around Dia Tren and Pac Rang, and the open mountain scenery of Ba Quang Burn Grass Hill.
By late afternoon, the road reaches Ban Gioc Waterfall near the Chinese border — one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural landmarks and a memorable end to the first riding day through Cao Bang’s borderlands.
Overnight in local homestay
Day Two
Ban Gioc waterfall - Cao Bang, 120 Kms
The second day begins with a relaxed morning near Ban Gioc, visiting Nguom Ngao Cave and Truc Lam Pagoda before leaving the border region behind.
From there, the ride follows quiet countryside roads through Phong Nam Village and the peaceful valleys surrounding Lung Ri — known for its traditional Yin Yang tile craftsmanship. Continuing deeper into rural Cao Bang, the route reaches Hoang Dieu Village, where locals still make handmade hats from bamboo and bamboo leaves using traditional methods passed down through generations.
The journey finishes with a scenic ride back to Cao Bang City, completing a short but immersive loop through one of northern Vietnam’s most beautiful riding regions.
