Day One

Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfall, 100 Km

8:30 am leaving Cao Bang City, the route heads east into a landscape shaped by limestone mountains, winding passes, and traditional mountain villages near the Chinese border.
After riding through Ma Phuc Pass, the journey continues to Dia Tren, a small village known for its handmade paper production, before reaching Phuc Sen and Pac Rang — communities long recognized for their blacksmith craftsmanship and forging traditions.
Further along the route, the open hills of Ba Quang offer a striking contrast to the narrow valleys and rocky terrain of the morning ride. By late afternoon, the road arrives at Ban Gioc Waterfall, where the sound of cascading water and the quiet border atmosphere mark the end of the first day in Cao Bang’s frontier region.

Day Two

Ban Gioc waterfall - Phia Thap village, 120 Km

The second day begins along the peaceful border landscapes surrounding Ban Gioc, with visits to Nguom Ngao Cave and Truc Lam Pagoda overlooking the Quay Son River.
Leaving the main tourist area behind, the ride continues through Ngoc Con Valley and the quiet countryside of Phong Nam Village, where narrow roads weave between rice fields, limestone peaks, and traditional ethnic communities.
Further west, the route reaches Angel Eye Mountain — one of Cao Bang’s most distinctive natural landmarks — before ending the day in Phia Thap Village, a small Tay community known for its long-standing incense-making traditions and calm mountain atmosphere.

Day Three

Phia Thap village - Cao Bang, 100 Km

The final day follows a quieter pace through the rural heart of Cao Bang, linking together small craft villages and scenic countryside roads rarely visited by mainstream travelers.
After leaving Phia Thap, the route passes through Hong Quang Village, home to the unique limestone formation known locally as the Magic Stone, before continuing toward Lung Ri — a traditional Tay village recognized for its handmade Yin Yang roof tiles.
The journey then reaches Hoang Dieu Village, where local families continue the long-standing craft of making hats from bamboo and bamboo leaves by hand. From there, a relaxed afternoon ride leads back to Cao Bang and arrive Cao Bang city around 16:30, completing a three-day journey through the hidden borderlands of northern Vietnam.
